All of these things that Trump said yesterday are factually incorrect, and very much Putin's talking points:

- False Zelenskyy Approval Claim: Trump said Zelenskyy’s approval is 4%, but polls show it’s much higher (52% according to latest poll in December)—his claim is baseless.

- War Misrepresentation: Trump wrongly stated Ukraine started the war, ignoring the fact that Russia launched the 2022 invasion.

- Blaming Ukraine for Invasion: Trump faulted Ukraine for not negotiating earlier, ignoring Russia’s unprovoked attack on its sovereignty.

- Push for Elections in Wartime: Trump demands elections in Ukraine despite martial law prohibiting them and the security risks of voting during Russian occupation.
