The coat color of this breed is a result of recessive genes, and in no way an indicator of the health or temperament. Although their appearances are definitely nice, there's actually a few big changes to be aware of. Emmydegreat
Health Concerns A huge concern when owning a white german shepherd is health. White German Shepherds, like all purebred dogs can be prone to some genetic conditions. Their health problems are hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia but most of the time they inherit them with only eye diseases. Their white color makes these dogs vulnerable to overall health and longevity through specific genetic traits, even though their coat is not really causing the problem. Readily available veterinary care, and living life well are the best ways to mitigate these risks.

Their white coats can be prone to staining, and frequent brushing is necessary to keep them clean and healthy. Additionally, these dogs have high exercise needs and require ample physical activity to stay fit. A balanced diet tailored to their nutritional needs is also essential for their overall well-being. Living Environment White German Shepherds thrive in environments where they have space to move and exercise. While they can adapt to apartment living, they do best in homes with access to a yard where they can run and play.
