nelson
"Candy and You" "Candy and You" might mean a sweet and fun relationship, a memory, or even a metaphor for something light and jolly. Candy shared with someone special is candy used as a metaphor; shared joy is thus immediate sweet contentment or connection. Or it could evoke feelings of nostalgia and simple pleasures in life-perhaps the playful side. "Candy and You" might be a metaphor, too, for the little things in life that fasten people together. In that sense, where candy gives pleasure only for the time being, it would speak of those sweet moments shared among friends, loved ones, or at quiet times alone. Life, just like candy, has times meant for relishing-those relishing-when everything seems all right, even if it's for a very brief period of time. It might be about two persons coming together with small things, basic things, such as the sharing of a favorite treat, remembering the childhood days, or enjoying life's little pleasures. Or it could be a metaphor of that balance between indulgence and moderation-to enjoy sweet moments of life without overindulging in them. Candy-both the literal type and the figurative variety, including those sweet moments of life-are good reminders to stop and smell the roses, so to speak, and really appreciate all those little happy things in life that are such a delight. If anything, most of us could stand a little more "candy" in our day-something to make one smile, even if only for a moment.
