Is chainsaw man getting a season 2?

I've heard some rumors that it was canceled in America. Or that they're not going to be doing a second season. Is that true, or are they just rumors
Season 2" is the confirmed upcoming movie that will be released within the next year or so hopefully

Chainsaw Man is one of the most popular mangas in the world, and the first season was very popular, so cancellation is not likely.
It’s only a matter of “when.” MAPPA self-funded the adaptation without a production committee, so they answered no one and risked their own money.

If they drop the ball, it’s only hurting their coffers. However, I am concerned that the working conditions b/w CSM S1 and JJK S2 might have left a wrong impression on individual animation staff members. IDK, though, as that just seems like the norm over there.

Hopefully, they are giving their staff a comfortable timetable to maximize the potential of the Reze movie, but who knows until we get the staff list and a trailer of the actual animation (not pre-animated like the teaser).
